How to check it is really Stafka
Scammers copy the names of recruiting companies to send fake job offers. Check any message against the list below: if the sender is not on it, it is not us.
Our only official channels
| Channel | Exact address | What we use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Website | stafka.com/ge | Jobs and CVs for candidates in Georgia |
| Website | stafka.com | Stafka for employers |
| Website | silkstaff.com | The recruiting company and its open jobs |
| Telegram bot | @silkstaff_bot | Applications, the voice answer, the English task, interview invitations |
| hello@silkstaff.com | Questions, reports of fakes |
Check the spelling letter by letter. On Telegram anyone can copy a display name and photo, but not the @username: our bot is exactly @silkstaff_bot. Any other account, a WhatsApp number, a Gmail address or a look-alike site with our name is not us.
What we never do
- We never ask for money. The CV, the English task, interviews and the job are free. No fees for registration, training, equipment, visas or “verification”.
- We never ask for card details. Not the number, the CVV, your bank login, SMS codes or a photo of the card.
- We never write from other Telegram accounts. Invitations and offers come only through @silkstaff_bot or from hello@silkstaff.com. A personal account that writes first “from Silkstaff” or “from Stafka” is not us.
- We never take a cut of your pay. You sign the contract directly with the employer and are paid monthly in US dollars via Deel, Wise or Payoneer.
A real application or a fake “foreign company”
The usual fake: an “HR manager of a foreign company” writes on Telegram, promises pay in dollars, sends a “questionnaire” and then asks for money, card details or a passport photo. Our application also runs on Telegram and starts with a few questions, so look at the details.
| What to check | A real Stafka application | A fake |
|---|---|---|
| Who writes | Only the bot @silkstaff_bot or hello@silkstaff.com | A personal Telegram or WhatsApp account, a Gmail address, a site or handle with one letter changed |
| Money | Never asked for: not to apply, not for training, not for equipment | A fee for training, a “starter kit”, a visa, a deposit or access to tasks |
| Data | No card number, CVV, bank login or SMS codes | Card details, SMS codes or a passport photo before any interview or contract |
| Selection | A voice answer, a written task, a 15-minute video call and an interview with the employer | An offer after a short chat, with no call and no skills check |
| Work and pay | Full-time with a US or European company; paid monthly in US dollars | Big pay for simple actions (likes, reviews, “buying out” orders), then “top up your balance” |
Check a message in two minutes
- Look at the sender. Compare the exact @username or email address with the table above.
- Find the job where it should be. Our open jobs are on our sites: jobs.
- Ask us. Forward the message or a screenshot to @silkstaff_bot or hello@silkstaff.com and ask “Is this you?”.
- Until you are sure, do not pay, do not share codes and do not install anything.
How to report a fake
Send the handle, phone number, link or email address with screenshots to hello@silkstaff.com or through @silkstaff_bot. On Telegram you can also open the account's profile and tap “Report”.
If you have already paid or shared card details, call your bank at once: block the card and dispute the payment. Keep the messages and receipts and report it to the police.
Questions
Do candidates pay Stafka or Silkstaff?
No. The CV, the English task, interviews and the job are free for candidates.
A recruiter wrote to me first on Telegram. Is that you?
Only if the message came through @silkstaff_bot. We do not send offers from personal accounts. Forward the message to hello@silkstaff.com or to the bot and ask.
An employer asks me to buy equipment or pay for training. Is that normal?
No. In the jobs we recruit for, the employer pays you, not the other way round. Stop and write to us.
How will I be paid if I get the job?
Directly by the employer, in US dollars, via Deel, Wise or Payoneer. We never take anything from your pay.
