Remote executive assistant jobs in Yerevan, Armenia

Support the founder or COO of a small US or European company: inbox, calendar, reports and follow-ups, so they can focus on the business. You work from home in Armenia and are paid in US dollars.

What the job is

An executive assistant (EA), sometimes called an executive or operations assistant, takes over everything that eats a founder's time but does not need their decisions: email, meetings, travel, reports, reminders to the team and messages to suppliers. It is not a reception desk job.

In our vacancies the companies have 5 to 50 people: e-commerce brands, marketing agencies and startups. You work full time in the client's hours, in Slack, Google Workspace and a CRM. After a few months a good assistant knows the business better than anyone except the founder, which is why these hires tend to last.

Duties

  • Triage the founder's inbox: answer routine email, flag what matters, chase open threads.
  • Run the calendar: book and move meetings across time zones, prepare agendas.
  • Arrange travel: flights, hotels, itineraries.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets and slides in Google Sheets, Excel or Slides.
  • Keep the CRM and shared documents tidy and current.
  • Email contractors and suppliers in English and keep track of deadlines.

What you need

  • English from B2+ to C1: confident writing and calls.
  • At least 2 years as an assistant, office manager, operations manager or in customer support (our vacancies require it).
  • Attention to detail and the habit of closing tasks without reminders.
  • Stable internet, your own laptop and a quiet place for calls.

How to get this job

  1. Describe your experience as outcomes. Not "handled the director's requests" but "ran the calendars of three executives, 40+ meetings a week". See how to write a CV for US companies.
  2. Show your written English. Most of an assistant's work is email. Prepare two or three samples: a reply to a client, a nudge to a supplier, a short meeting summary.
  3. Check the hours. A 9-to-5 day in New York is 18:00–02:00 in Yerevan time; in Berlin it is 12:00–20:00 (winter time; an hour earlier in summer). Decide early which you can do: working US hours from Yerevan, Armenia.
  4. Apply to our vacancy. The Telegram application takes about 3 minutes: a few questions and a 60-second voice answer in English. Then a written task, a 15-minute video call and an interview with the company.

Questions

How is an executive assistant different from a virtual assistant?

An executive assistant usually works full time for one executive at one company. A virtual assistant more often has several clients for part of the day and does narrower tasks.

Do I need a university degree?

Not for our vacancies. What matters is 2+ years of experience, B2+ English and accuracy, which we check with a task and a call.

How is the job set up legally?

You sign a contract directly with the hiring company, usually as an independent contractor, and are paid monthly in US dollars via Deel, Wise or Payoneer.

Can I work European hours instead?

Yes, with a European client: their day is 12:00–20:00 in Yerevan time (winter time; an hour earlier in summer). With US clients most of the day falls in your evening.
