How we count

  • Source. Anonymous candidate profiles published on Stafka on 4 November 2026, from Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia and Kazakhstan, where the candidate agreed to be shown to employers and states expected pay. We read only structured fields: role, country, pay, English level, years of experience, hours and shift.
  • Not salaries. The figures are what candidates say they expect, in US dollars a month. They are not paid salaries, offers or market rates.
  • Who is in the sample. The people who applied to us. This is not a random sample of any country's workforce, and it says nothing about people who did not apply.
  • How the figures are made. Each profile gives one figure, the midpoint of its stated minimum and maximum. Candidates who came through our Telegram bot choose one of a few fixed pay bands, so many profiles share the same figure and a narrow middle half here does not mean the market is that narrow. The median and the middle half (25th to 75th percentile, inclusive method) come from those figures and are rounded to the nearest $50. Monthly figures are not adjusted for hours, so a part-time profile counts like a full-time one. Years and hours are plain medians of the profiles that state them.
  • English level. The level shown on the profile. Candidates who came through our Telegram bot took a written and a voice English task, and the bot assessed the level; candidates who signed up on the site chose it themselves. It is not a certified test score.
  • Privacy. A group is published only with at least 5 profiles. Smaller groups are merged into “Other”, or left out of the report altogether, totals included, when together they stay under that size. We show medians and quartiles, never the lowest or highest figure, which would be one person's. No profile codes, cards, free text or anything per person appears here or in the CSV.
  • Limits. A small pool that changes daily: treat differences of a step or two ($50–100) as noise. A few profiles whose free text still looks identifying are left out until an editor cleans them, and profiles without a stated pay are not counted, so the pool count on the candidate search can be higher than this one.
  • Updates. Rebuilt daily. If the export of profiles is more than 2 days old the report is taken down until it is fresh again.
